Cold weather is tough on just about everyone, but especially for those with no home. Sadly, the economy has put a great many people out of their homes as well as their jobs, people who never thought for a moment it could happen to them. More than a third of those are children. We were proud to present all those beautiful hats, mittens, and scarves made by our members over the summer to several homeless shelters in northern cities across the country.

This is great. I wish there were more things like that around here. This area really needs a program like this. I think the only donations they get are from individuals. It would be nice to get a group together to make things and stuff like that in this area. Small towns are not really open to the homeless like they should be. I currently make cards for the ronald mcdonald house in charleston wv. I just wish people would be more kind to the homeless. as well all know you never know when something could happen and you yourself become homeless. we need more kind people in the world. especially in small towns where there are too many jones's. If you know what I mean. I think you ladies are awesome for doing this and have nothing but high high respect for anyone that helps the homeless and needy. God Bless you all
