I got the card too...Last week, about Wed or Th...and I too threw it away. this is the 2nd one I've gotten. I did respond to the 1st one...they are going to sell you a piece of jewelry for $6.99 and then you will be automatically signed up to recieve future shipments of such...I did , I got a nice ring for $5-6.00 and then you have to mark a spot on the invoice (if I remember right ) and CANCEL your membership. the ring I got was well worth the price but you have to be sure to know if you are going to join the 'club" or only take advantage of the one time deal.

You certainly will recieve a nice piece of jewelry but if you don't cancel after that you will be sent other items at a higher price. It's like any other "club" offer. the 1st one is always a good deal. Now where did I put that ring??? I have always been very attractive to rings since I was a little girl...and had a box of Cracker Jax....LOL!!

Nicky,

That was my thought exactly! If it is a 'free' gift, then why are they asking for me to pay the shipping? Hmmm..doesn't sound too 'free' to me...

BTW: I never took advantage of it because of the shipping (cost) part of it; however Pine Nut, it never said anything on the card about having to buy anything (or even being offered membership into another club/deal...maybe they address that part on the phone...but I don't know..didn't call it.
