Babs, Pam, Mary,

I didn't make the Cheks Mix from scratch. I just bought 6 different flavored bags, peanut and plain M&M's. I knew the ones who where diabetic could share the candy but still have mix to eat. The only disappointment was I added a Cheks Mix that had some dried fruit in it. I had some left over and I tried it but didn't like the taste of the dried fruit tasting up the other indg. But after I ate a few mix pieces I didn't taste the fruit.

I am so glad you like it. Enjoy!!!!
Janis

PS I will put the gifts and cards in my bucket since you all are starting to receive the gifts.

Janis, our mail here is really slow. Maybe tomorrow or Monday. (I've had mail from New York take 3 1/2 weeks to get here! I think they put it on a slow moving turtle's back! LOL) I'll let you know, and thank you in advance.

Aunt Pam, don't worry over it. You don't have to send me anything, I just enjoyed being your pod and getting to know everyone.

Do you know, I joined CHAC in Nov. and never got a bill, no magazines, etc. So I called them and they didn't even show me in the system. I gave them the member # I was given (off the letter) and they said it wasn't my number! But, we have it figured out now, I know because I got a bill! lol And my first magazine. I sure would have liked the Dec to the present as well. Oh well, at least I'm in line for this years Christmas, etc. lolol

Arleigh, I finally got your lovely thank you gifts the other day. They are wonderful. The tote bag is so pretty I'm almost afraid to use it, lol. And thanks for the seeds as well. The gardening journal will be a great place for my favourite garden photos. And the little calendar is so cute, I'll have to find a good place to hang it.

Hi all,
Just wanted Grammy Pam and Arlene to know I mailed out a package for you both today...I hope you like your gifts; they're not big, but you know what they say about good things coming in small packages....I hope you will think that when you get your tiny treasures.
There is also something coming for you, Dixie! Didn't want you to think I left you out! Wink I'll chat with you gals later....
Pam

I don't know where to post this, so after reading all the notes here I decide, this was the place. Today I received in the mail, most beautiful handmade card with flower seeds tucked in side. I could not help but shed a few tears(being the sentimental nut that I am) Oh, Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Rudy. Words just can not explan the feeling inside. I have a wonderful new friend who just thought of me.

I just returned from out of town and had the nicest surprises. Thank you Grammy Graham for the birthday card. That was so sweet of you to remember. And as my granddaughter would say "A gia-normorus thank you to Aunt Pam for the beautiful bracelet you sent me. I love, love, love it. I tried it on right away and it fit perfect. I also loved your card. As a card maker myself I always appreciate the beautiful handmade cards that I receive from everyone. They are always so special to me. Thank you so much for the beautiful thank you gift!!!

Aunt Pam Thank you for the beautiful handmade bracelet I received from you in the mail. So much work! And the card, I had to show both to my DH and brag on your work. The card looked like it had so much time in it, gosh, that alone would have been plenty of thanks!!

Hi ladies,
So happy you got your gifts, Grammy Pam, Dixie and Arlene.... and glad you liked them! Big Grin-I haven't been able to post on the board for awhile because my goofy computer has been broken! Roll Eyes I got it fixed, but then couldn't get on the Internet....
Well, my sis came over and helped me get back online, so I am trying to catch up on everyone's posts from the last month or so.
Glad to be back among friends!
Pam

I must have missed something, didn't know there was a gift exchange thing going on here. Is it like Christmas in July or what?
