Door Frame Ornament
STEP 1: Preparation.
Apply fusible web to cardboard and red, green, gold, and white felt. Cut the following:

Red: One 3″ x 5″
Gold: One 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
White: One 2 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
Green: One 1 7/8″ x 3 7/8v two 1 1/2″″squares
Cardboard: One 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″

STEP 2: Layer felt pieces. Remove paper backing from gold piece and center on front of red rectangle. Iron in place. Use white thread to stitch through both layers of felt around outside edges of gold felt. Repeat for white and green rectangles. For dimension, remove paper backing from green squares and center on front of green rectangle. Stitch around outside edges of squares in same way.
Place cardboard on white felt with fusible web side down. Remove paper backing from red felt and center layered piece on top. Iron well. Use scalloped scissors to trim around outside edges of ornament, leaving a scant 1/8″ white border.

STEP 3: Embellish. Thread three small bells onto 8″of ribbon. Tie bells together at center of ribbon. Tie a bow and trim the ends at a slant. Stitch bow and bells to front of door. If sewing machine allows you to embroider house numbers, do so using a leftover piece of red felt and white thread. Optional: Embroider numbers by hand or use a fine-point fabric paint pen. Glue to a scrap of fusible web-backed white felt, and iron in place.
Trim white felt leaving a scant 1/8″ border. Remove paper backing and iron house number plaque to door front above ribbon and bells. Glue keyhole to door front.

STEP 4: Make hanger. Thread 8” of red ribbon onto a tapestry needle and tie an overhand knot at one end. Push needle through from back to front and pull ribbon through felt until knot is secure. Push needle through opposite corner to back. Slide ribbon off needle and tie an overhand knot at the opposite end.

Address Frame Ornament
STEP 1: Preparation.
Apply fusible web to cardboard, red, and beige felt, and part of green felt (leave a 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" piece bare). Use die cutter to cut house numbers from red and four small corner scrolls from green. Use the frame die to cut out a 4″ x 5″ frame with a 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ opening from white and red felt. Set aside frame centers. Trim 1/4" from outside and inside edges of white frame.

STEP 2: Layer pieces. Remove paper backing from house numbers and center them on front of white frame center set aside earlier. Press. Remove paper backing from white trimmed frame, center over red frame, and press. Remove paper backing from red frame and white numbered rectangle. Remove paper backing and place green corner pieces at outer edges of white frame as shown. Press. Cut one 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" rectangle from beige. Center red frame on top and press. Trim around outside edges of beige felt, leaving a 1/4″ border on all sides.

STEP 3: Make hanger. Thread 10″ of red and white dotted ribbon onto a tapestry needle and tie an overhand knot at one end. Take a stitch into the back of 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" green felt and pull the ribbon through the felt until the knot is secure. Take a stitch into the opposite edge of felt, pulling ribbon off needle at back. Tie an overhand knot to secure.

STEP 4: Finish. Lay green felt flat with hanger side down. Cut a 4″ x 5″ piece of fusible web-backed cardboard. Remove paper backing from cardboard and center on green felt with fusible web side down. Remove paper backing from beige felt and center layered piece on top. Iron well.

Glass Ornament
STEP 1: Cut & apply felt.
Apply fusible web to back of green and red felt. Use die cutter to cut house numbers and two ornamental scrolls. Remove paper backing from pieces and place on front of ornament. Note: Fusible web is somewhat tacky but can be repositioned if needed. Heat iron to a cotton setting. Carefully place tip of iron over felt pieces to allow fusible web to adhere to glass. Repeat until all items are attached.

STEP 2: Embellish. Squeeze a small amount of paint onto paper plate. To make dots, dip pencil point into paint and then touch the surface of the ornament. Continue adding dots to front and edges of ornament. Let dry. Use hot fix applicator to place crystals on scrolls as shown.

STEP 3: Finish. Cut an 8" length of red and white dotted ribbon. Thread through ornament hanger and tie ends in an overhand knot.

Christmas Ornament Idea

Cut circles (minimum 6) from any heavy paper, we used old christmas cards & construction paper. Fold the outer edges of the circles inward in a triangle pattern. This gives you something that looks a bit like a triangular picture frame. Join the circles by the folded up parts to create a sphere with the joined parts making it 3-D. In the case of 6 circles, join 3 for each half using the top sides of the triangle and attach them to each other on their respective triangle bottoms.

The possibilities are endless. Attach them with glue, tape, staples, whatever floats your boat. Christmas cards are beautiful as is but we've used construction paper and made snowpeople, santa heads, angel heads and so on. My daughter used spray adhesive and then glitter. Fun, fun, fun!
