PROS
This yarn really is one of the softest yarns I have ever used. It feels great on the hands while knitting. It knits up evenly and wears quite well. I haven't had any problems with putting it in the washer and dryer, either.

CONS
The only problem I found was that the plys will split and i would pick up only part of the yarn on a stitch. I have to watch my work a little more closely as I knit.

OVERALL
This is one of my favorite yarns to use!

I always use this yarn to crochet all my baby sweater sets (hat, sweater and booties) and blankets. The colors are wonderful too. I just finished making a set in the blue mint color for a new baby boy. I also finishing up my grandson's sweater in the same color. I have used the green, white, pink, etc... It makes the softest baby sweaters... I even won at our State Fair in each of my categories that I used this yarn

The yarn comes in so many bright and vibrant colors now. You can create a entire Fruit Basket of assorted fruits and make the entire fruit Basket with the correct color of yarn to go with each fruit or vegetable.

CONS
with all those colors you would think that someone in the Omaha Area would know where you can buy the Caron yarn except for online.

OVERALL
The Product is create when you are able to find the yarn at the store.

PROS
It is very soft and I love it. Wish it had even more colors.

CONS
However, besides the splitting problem mentioned above, I was very disappointed when I was knitting an afghan. Because it has no dye lot, I didn't worry about making sure I had enough skeins at the beginning of the project. When I purchased more, I did not notice, but when the afghan was finished, some of the skeins were not identically matched in color - even though they were supposedly the same color. In the future, if I were going to use this yarn, I would have to be sure to buy enough yarn for the entire project at once and before starting it, look at all the yarn under my light and make sure they were exactly the same color.

OVERALL
I still like it, but I am now very wary and do not buy at different times for my project. Since Dazzleaire is no longer made, this is the next best thing.

PROS
This is some of the softest yarn on the market. I love how it feels while you're working with it

CONS
The yarn splits really easily -- more so than most yarns -- and you have to be really careful that you pick up the whole strand in your stitches. If you don't, the split stitches show up really bad in the finished project. Also, I've had a several skeins that had been tied together more than once inside.

OVERALL
Love the yarn but just wish it didn't split so bad.

PROS
It's so soft - wonderful for baby projects... and for adults too... who doesn't love something buttery soft against their skin? I haven't experienced any big knotted balls inside the skein as I have with other brands of yarn. The color selection is pretty extensive.

CONS
It does split easily, and I have experienced some tie offs - sometimes two in a skein - which I don't like at all. I hate to feel knots in my work, so I always have to cut the yarn and do a fresh tie on and weave in. I tend to do a lot of one-skein projects simply because I don't like to tie on - so having to do it multiple times because of the knots is very frustrating.

OVERALL
I still like it & will continue to use it. I think it's a good value for a nice, workable, soft yarn.
